The 2023 Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Surfing Competition, part of the 2023 Yangyang Surfing Festival, will be held at five beaches in Yangyang County from August 30.

The competition will feature shortboard, longboard, and SUP board events, with about 120 surfers and enthusiasts participating. The competition will be held according to the weather and wave conditions, and the winners will receive prizes and trophies.

The festival will also include a DJ party, surfing and beach yoga experiences, and other activities for visitors.
