Sokcho City announced that the "2024 Daepo 夜 Love" event, which has been held since July, was completed with favorable responses from citizens and tourists.

The "Daepo 夜 Love" event, which began in 2015, has provided a pleasant summer night memory for many citizens and tourists at Lake Hydrangea in Daepohang, a representative tourist destination in Sokcho.

The city said, "More people visited the cannon night sea than last year, and not only family visitors but also tourists such as lovers and friends diversified, enjoying the cannon night sea in their own way," adding, "We performed Sokcho Lionnori, a unique artistic performance unique to Sokcho, with Sokcho City Pungmul Group's Visiting Pungryu, imprinting Sokcho's unique charm."

This year's "Daepo 夜 Love Sea" event, which was held on stage in the hydrophilic lake of Daepohang Port, consisted of small outdoor concerts and proposal events of various genres, including orchestras, live bands, folk songs, violin performances, dance and balloon performances.

In each performance, performers, audiences, citizens and tourists communicate and participate with each other, and through a talk show hosted by the host, they improvised a surprise reminder proposal, a bouquet of flowers and a congratulatory message, giving impression and fun, and this time, 18 couples were celebrated by sharing a love story with the audience.

Daepo Prosperity Association, a Daepo community organization, also made various efforts to develop regional co-prosperity, such as supporting local products as promotional materials for the successful progress of Daepo 夜 Saranghae, which provides tourists with things to see and enjoy.
