Inje-gun announced that the 24th Hwangtae Festival will be held in Inje-gun, the largest pollack production area in the country, for three days from May 4th to 6th.

The county said, "Yongdae 3-ri Hwangtae Village and Injeyong Dae Hwangtae Association, which host and host the festival, have prepared a variety of programs to entertain visitors' five senses during the festival."

This year's Hwangtae Festival will begin its full-fledged festival schedule at 10 p.m. on the 4th at the Yongdae 3-ri Samgeori in Buk-myeon, Inje-gun. At 14 p.m., the opening ceremony will be held, and the ceremony will be held together with the pre-ceremony performance prepared by the villagers and the award ceremony for the 1st Hwangtae Village Yongdae-ri Art Contest."

During the festival, you can see a variety of programs, including △ making Hwangtaepo △ peeling Hwangtaepo △ fishing for Hwangtae, and cooking classes where you can make △ Hwangtaeguk, grilled Hwangtae seasoning, and Hwangtae shell dishes. In addition, from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. every day, cauldron Hwangtaeguk is provided free of charge.

An official from the Hwangtae Festival said, "You will be able to taste Hwangtae dishes that are worthy of the reputation of Yongdae-ri Village, which produces 80% of the nation's Hwangtae," adding, "I hope you will visit the festival site and enjoy the taste of Hwangtae as well as attractions, entertainment, and food."

Meanwhile, the 1st Hwangtae Village Yongdae-ri Art Competition was held under the theme of Inner Seorak Landscape and Hwangtae, and more than 500 artists from all over the country submitted their works. Among the 29 people in the final screening, the grand prize winner will receive 5 million won.
