Yangyang-gun announced that the Naksan Beach Welcome Market Event, prepared to present pleasant memories to visitors to Yangyang during the summer vacation season, will be held once again from August 2nd to 4th.

 

"It was held successfully from July 26 to 28," the county said, adding, "The event will be held from 11 p.m. to 22 p.m. at the design street of Naksan Beach B District (7-62 Jinjin-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon), and creative artworks and handicrafts prepared by Yangyang Beach Market Seller and Ttukbang Market Seller will be sold and displayed, and food trucks and seasonal agricultural products will be sold together."

 

From August 2nd, 3rd, and 18:00, band performances (The Loft) will be held on the Welcome Market stage, and from 20:00, band and EDM performances will be held on the Naksan Central Plaza stage to heighten the summer night atmosphere.

 

In addition, Beach Yoga will be held at 18:30 on August 3, and 30 people will be pre-booked on a first-come, first-served basis through "Goyangyang," a smart tourism app in Yangyang-gun, and guided by professional instructors.

 

Yangyang-gun plans to provide a variety of entertainment to residents and vacationers through this event, which combines culture, shopping, food and fun.

 

A county official said, "Last week, Naksan Beach Welcome Market was held in great success with the interest of many people," adding, "This event was also filled with various things to see and enjoy, so I hope many people will come and have fun memories."

 

Meanwhile, the event is co-hosted by Yangyang-gun, the Naksan Beach Development Committee, and the Yangyang Cultural Foundation to revitalize tourism in the Naksan district, which has been reborn as a new tourist destination since the lifting of the Naksan Provincial Park.
