The opening game of the second season of the Inje Masters series was held at Inje Speedium in Gangwon-do for two days from the 13th to the 14th.

 

Starting this year, the Inje Masters series will also feature games hosted by bike brands such as Suzuki GSX Cup and Dukati Korea V Cup. The main event of the competition, Inje Durability, is a endurance race competition that competes with the distance traveled for two hours, and up to three drivers can take turns in each race car.

 

In the preliminary round of Inje Durability held on the 13th, Won Won-yeon and Park Jae-hong recorded the fastest lap time with 1:46.972. In INGT2, where the most participating vehicles were gathered, Baek Seung-tae, who participated alone, took the class-leading grid. In INGT2N, Jung Yun-ho, Lee Sang-jin, and Min Byung-ho took the class lead grid, while in INGT3, Kang Seon-gu and Bae Hyun-ho took the class lead grid. In the newly created INGT2N EVO class, Park Dong-seop, Kang Jae-hyun, and Kim Sung-pil recorded the fastest lap time.

 

In the final match held on the 14th, the INGT1 class's Gye Startup-Ahn Sung-jin group, which started on the 3rd grid, won the opening game with a time of 2 hours, 3 minutes, 39 seconds and 441 seconds for a total of 55 laps of the Inje Spidium full course of 3.908 kilometers. Kim Hyun-seok and Daehan Cho, who started in the second grid, and Won Won-yeon and Park Jae-hong, who started in the lead, returned to the main straight during an eight-lap drive.

 

In the INGT2 class, Kim Woo-hyung and Kim Do-yeop won the podium. Baek Seung-tae came in second and Lee Dae-woong came in third. In INGT2N, Kim Hyung-chan took first place in the 54 laps, and Jeon Hong-jin, who ran 53 laps, took second place.

 

In the INGT2N EVO class, which was newly introduced only with additional tuned vehicles in the INGT2N class, Park Dong-seop, Kang Jae-hyun, and Kim Sung-pil were the first to run 54 laps, while Kim Hyung-soon, Ryu Hyun-ho, and Shin Jong-kyu of the same team ranked second, and Nam Jin-hyun and Lee Sang-ho ranked third. In INGT3, Kang Seon-gu and Bae Hyun-ho, Na Seung-hwan, and Sagong Byeong-hyun ranked first, second, and third, respectively.

 

Starting this season, Kumho Tire will participate as an official tire sponsor, and all participating race cars in the 2024 season will reportedly be equipped with an X-Star V730.

 

The Dukati Korea V Cup was an eight-lap sprint. In the Panigale V2 class, Jung Jae-hwa won the title with 13 minutes and 30 seconds 126, and in the Panigale V4 class, Kim Ji-wan recorded 13 minutes and 22 seconds 836, lifting the trophy.

 

The Suzuki GSX Cup Final was the first sprint race to run eight full laps. In the "Open" class, which allows free tuning within the regulations, Yang Soo-yong won the title with 18 minutes and 37.087 seconds, while Shin Myung-kyu topped the podium with 20 minutes and 10.300 seconds in the "Stock" class, which allows little bike transformation.

 

In addition, the first round of the KDGP was held at Inje Speedium's first parking lot with a special drift track. Hisashi Kamimoto of D1GP attended this round as a judge on a special track designed with the advice of D1GP, an international drift competition. In the "Professional" class, Yoon Hyuk won the title, while Park Si-hyun and Kim Hwa-seop ranked second and third. In the "Semipro" class, Yoon Eun-chong ranked first, while Kim Do-hyun and Park Jin-soo ranked second and third.

 

The next match of the Inje Masters series is scheduled to run for two days from June 1 to 2.
