Sokcho City announced that it will hold the "5th Sokcho Pet Culture Festival" with the Sokcho Branch of the Korea Pets Association at 10 a.m. on September 29 at Sokcho Expo Symbol Tower Square.

The city explained, "The Sokcho Pet Culture Festival is the first dog-related festival that began in Yeongdong, Gangwon Province, and is designed to establish a mature pet culture and spread animal love culture, and has developed into a festival that many pets wait for every year."

In this festival, you can watch various programs such as dog running competitions and children's animal love drawing competitions, as well as life-saving dog demonstrations and explosive detection dog demonstrations that are difficult to encounter, and programs that can be used with pets such as correcting problem dog behavior and testing dog characters are expected to give precious memories to many people who attended the event.

An official from Sokcho City said, "Through this festival, we will try to create a consensus where companion and non-companion understand each other, and make Sokcho happy together with people and pets."
