Water Bomb Sokcho, which attracted 15,000 people last year, will return this year. Hanwha Hotel & Resort announced that it will hold the music festival "Water Bomb Sokcho 2024" at Hanwha Resort Seorak on August 17.

Water Bomb is an event with water play in various genre performances and is so popular that people from all over the country gather. Most of the participants are in their 20s and 30s, so it has established itself as a representative summer festival for the MZ generation. This year, it will be held in nine cities across the country, including Sokcho, Seoul, Busan, and Jeju.

Hanwha Hotel & Resort has been the only host of Water Bam in Gangwon Province since last year. Last year, as many as 15,000 people attended the "Water Bam Sokcho 2023" held in Seorak, Hanwha Resort.

Based on Naver Data Lab statistics on the day of the event, the search volume for "Sokcho" increased five times year-on-year. It is considered one of the best examples of private companies investing billions of won in capital as it has led to the revitalization of the local economy, including the influx of tourists and employment effects.

Starting in April, singers and others who will participate in "Water Bomb Sokcho 2024" will be unveiled one by one, and top Korean entertainers will participate.
