▲ On the 28th, the Inje County Cultural Foundation and the Dubon Food Service Industry Development Institute held a business agreement to revitalize local tourism and festivals in the Inje County Office's small meeting room.

 

Preparations for the luxury summer festival to continue the reputation of the Inje Ice Fish Festival are in full swing in the area of the clean Inje Nam-myeon Ice Fish Lake.

 

The Inje-gun Cultural Foundation (Chairman Choi Sang-ki) and the Dubon Food Industry Development Institute (CEO Jongwon Baek), a global food service company, held a business agreement to revitalize local tourism and festivals ahead of the new summer festival that will follow the Inje Ice Cream Festival, the origin of the Korean winter festival.

 

The main contents of the agreement between the two sides on this day are △ menu development using local specialties for regional co-prosperity △ consulting and operation of the festival food booth △ supporting consulting and education in the restaurant industry △ promotion of events using broadcasting and YouTube △ development of tourism commercialization linking food and tourism. Starting with the consignment operation of the food booth for the summer festival in 2024, the Dubon Food Industry Development Institute will begin full-fledged activities, including consulting and festival promotion for local food sales.

 

The Binger Lake Summer Festival will be held from May to June, and the detailed schedule of the festival will be confirmed around early March, and various experience programs such as various types of camping zones such as camping cars, caravans, and car camping, water sports enjoyed in the background of the Binger Lake, and camping cooking competitions with families will be presented. In particular, it plans to create a space where visitors can enjoy 24 hours a day by preparing customized contents for attractions, entertainment, and food tailored to recent tourism trends.

 

Prior to this, the Inje-gun Cultural Foundation held a business agreement with global outdoor camping brand Snowpeak Korea on the 1st and decided to make efforts to develop a leading camping culture for summer festivals in a new direction that reflects recent tourism trends, including MZ generation.

 

Icefish Lake in Nam-myeon, where the summer festival will be held under the theme of Camping and Water, is in the final stage of the project to create a four-season complex tourist destination by investing 40 billion won by 2027. In particular, it is expected that the competitiveness of summer festivals will increase if water experience facilities and lake trekking courses are established around Ice Lake.

 

Jeon Man-ho, executive director of the Inje-gun Cultural Foundation, said, "We will do our best to increase the number of foreign tourists and the living population by developing menus using local agricultural products and developing tourism commercialization linked to food and tourism."
