Yangyang-gun announced that the "Yangyang Wellness Rustic Festival," where you can enjoy the wellness experience in nature, will be held at Haedam Village in Seomyeon, Yangyang-gun, for two days on October 12th and 13th.

"The Yangyang Wellness Beach Festival" was also held on August 24, and many visitors enjoyed various activities and wellness healing experiences against the backdrop of Naksan Beach," the county said. "A total of 100 teams will participate in the Wellness Rustic Festival, and various healing programs such as healing trekking (Jujeongol), trail learning (Jeongjoksan), forest meditation, forest yoga and sound healing, making local traditional liquor, and music performances will be held."

The Wellness Rustic Festival was prepared to provide a wellness experience against the backdrop of Yangyang's beautiful mountains and valleys, as the Yangyang-gun Tourism Council (Sullemyang Social Cooperative, Yangyang-gun Rural Experience Village Council, and Surf City Cooperative) was selected for the 2024 Rural Creature Support Project organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in April.

The venue will have a relaxation zone where you can relax while listening to music and a food and beverage booth centered on local brands to provide visitors with a comfortable rest area.

Yangyang-gun and the Yangyang-gun Tourism Council expect that the festival will go beyond helping participants rest and recharge, and promote Yangyang's charm through wellness creators.

Those who want to participate in the festival can make reservations for a fee through the participating website and T-Moneygo app (travel products, rural tour passes, Yangyang wellness festival), and welcome kits (echo bags, towels, local food packages, etc.) will also be provided to participants.

An event official said, "I hope this festival, which will be held in the clean nature of the Yangyang, will be a precious memory to heal the body and mind in nature, away from the busy daily life."

Meanwhile, Yangyang-gun and the Yangyang Tourism Council are pushing for a rural creative tour support project in 2024, and are discovering a stay-type rural specialized theme tour program that allows you to enjoy seasonal specialized unique experiences in four areas: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, centering on rural experience and recreation villages.
