▲ Yangyang-gun, come visit Naksan Beach Welcome Market full of attractions!

Yangyang-gun announced that the "Naksan Beach Welcome Market Event" will be held from July 26 to 28 and August 2 to 4 to present pleasant memories to visitors to Yangyang during the summer vacation season. 

It will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the design street area of Naksan Beach B District (7-62 Jinjin-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon), where creative artworks and handicrafts will be sold and exhibited, and food trucks and seasonal agricultural products will be sold together. About 30 teams, including Yangyang Beach Market Seller, who had been active in Yangyang Jinhang Port, and Ttukbang Market Seller, who had been hosting the market at Yangyang Songi Park, will participate in the welcome market to showcase unique crafts.

The county explained "This event will be co-hosted by Yangyang-gun, the Naksan Beach Development Committee, and the Yangyang Cultural Foundation to revitalize tourism in the Naksan district, which has been reborn as a new tourist destination since the lifting of the Naksan Provincial Park." Busking and band performances will be held at the Welcome Market stage from July 26th, 27th, and 18:00, and band and EDM performances will be held at the Naksan Central Plaza on the night of August 2nd and 3rd.

On the second day of the event, "One Summer Night, Fireworks Show" will be held at 20:30 p.m. on the second day of the event. The fireworks show will be harmonized with classical performances featuring instrumentalists such as violins and violas and sopranos to illuminate the night sky of Naksan Beach. 

In addition, at 18:30 on July 27 and August 3, Beach Yoga will be held under the guidance of professional instructors by pre-booking 30 people through "GoGoYangYang" a smart tourism app in Yangyang-gun. 

Yangyang-gun plans to provide residents and vacationers with a variety of things to see and enjoy through this event, which combines culture, shopping, food and fun. A county official said, "We prepared this event to provide a variety of things to see and enjoy this summer," and added, "I hope many people will come and visit us and return with beautiful memories."
