▲ A festival for aspiring soccer players will be held in Inje-gun for 12 days

Inje-gun announced that 1,265 young soccer dreamers from all over the country will gather to compete enthusiastically from the 22nd.

First of all, the "2024 Sky Inje Youth Football Festival" will be held from July 22 to 28 at Inje Natural Lawn Stadium and Bukmyeon Sports Park. 815 players from 32 teams aged U-11 and U-12, registered in the Korea Football Association, will be divided into upper and lower teams to proceed with the second league after qualifying for the group league.

"In this festival, former professional soccer player Kim Ho-nam will be a speaker and give special lectures to participating players and parents," the county said. "The lecture will be concluded with a Q&A session on mental management by Lee Sang-woo, a Ph.D. in sports psychology, and the discovery and growth of elite players by Jung Jae-yoon, a Seoul FC youth scout."

In addition, the county will hold the "2nd Swiss Inje Summer Football Festival in Korea" from July 22 to Aug. 2 at the sports park in Sangnam-myeon. Hosted by Inje County Sports Council and sponsored by Inje County, the festival will be divided into two sessions. The first round will run from July 22 to 26, and the second round will run from July 29 to Aug. 2, with 450 players from 30 teams aged U-10 and U-12, playing more than eight games per team.

Kim Chun-mi, director of the Sports Youth Division, said, "I hope that dream tree players will acquire the necessary information and make good memories in Inje during the soccer festival."

Meanwhile, Inje-gun has held 37 competitions so far with the aim of holding more than 60 national (provincial) sports competitions this year, and plans to continue to implement strategies to increase competitiveness and visitor satisfaction through YouTube broadcasts, commentary, and substantial program operation.
