The torch tour event for the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics will be held at 2:40 p.m. on the 20th at Yangyang-gun Indoor Gymnasium.

The torch tour event for the 2024 Gangwon Youth Olympics is being held sequentially from October 18 to December 28 in cities and counties in the province to pray for a successful hosting of the event and to create an atmosphere for the Winter Youth Olympics.

A total of 280 students and officials from Yangyang High School will attend the event, along with heads of institutions and organizations such as Kim Jin-ha, Yangyang County Mayor of Sokcho Yangyang Education Support Office, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Oh Kwang-soo, principal of Yangyang High School. △ Greetings △ torchlight with torchlight △ commemorative photography △ cultural performance.

After the torch event ends, winter sports experience programs such as B-boy dance performances, recycling keyring making, curling, biathlon, skiing, and board will be operated along with the Olympic OX quiz.

In particular, Shinmun-seon, a teacher at Yangyang High School, Lee Ha-eun (Representative of Shooting School/Youth Participation Committee), Noh Hyung-jin (President of Student Council), Kwon Ha-eun (President of Vice Student Council), and Lee Seok-hwa will participate in the torch tour in Yangyang-gun (5 people).

The county plans to actively support the torch tour event, which marks the beginning of the Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games, and to encourage public interest and participation so that the competition can be held successfully.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Gangwon Youth Olympics will be held from January 19 to February 1, 2024, in Pyeongchang, Gangneung, Jeongseon, and Hoengseong, with teenagers from more than 70 countries participating.
