The Karting Korea Championship (KKC), a motorsport competition for promising drivers, will hold its third round of the 2023 season at the Inje Speedium Kart Center in Gangwon Province on September 17.
The KKC consists of five rounds, four of which are held at Inje Speedium and one at Yeongam KIC Kart Track. The third round was originally scheduled for September 3, but was postponed to protect the drivers from the increased number of kart races in the country.
Inje Speedium also installed special barriers at the kart center to pass the inspection of the Korea Automobile Racing Association (KARA). The third round will feature eight classes, including Senior Max, Junior Max, and Micro Max.
The Senior Max class is expected to be a fierce battle for the season champion, as the points gap between the top five drivers is only 32 points. In the Novice class, Shin Ga-won, a high school girl racer from Project K, will aim for her third consecutive win. <저작권자 ⓒ 설악타임즈 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
