Goseong-gun said it is holding various events and events for tourists visiting the beach from July 26 to August 17 during the summer vacation season to provide tourists with various experiences and entertainment.

The county said, "We opened Ayajin Beach early on June 22 for the first time this year to provide safety and entertainment for tourists visiting the beach due to the early heat, and on July 1, Tianjin and Bongpo beaches were opened to ensure the safety of tourists visiting the beach," adding, "We opened 27 places, including Hwajinpo Beach, simultaneously on July 12 and are operating a total of 30 places until August 18."

On Hwajinpo Beach, with Nature! With Music! Hwajinpo Travel! Various music performances will be held from July 27 to August 10 to prepare for the event, and on Hwajinpo Beach, under the theme of the Hanaro Festival, children's natural scallop picking experience, local specialties, and surfing experience will be held from July 26 to August 3.

At Geojin 11-ri Beach, a bare-handed seafood event such as squid and clams will be held from August 3 to 4, and at Song Ji-ho Beach, a bare-handed squid festival will be held from August 3 to 4, and at Baekdo Beach, tourists will be welcomed with a bare-handed experience of clams and scallops from August 16 to 17.

In addition, Bongsudae Beach will be able to enjoy the 2024 Goseong National Housewives Beach Song Festival with tourists and county residents on August 3, and Ayajin Beach will be able to meet bare-handed fish and various experience events on August 2.

A beach management official said, "We are preparing various events to contribute to revitalizing local commercial districts by promoting differentiated events for each beach, increase the length of stay for beach vacationers, and provide administrative support in preparing for summer beach festivals."

Meanwhile, Goseong-gun said it is focusing on the safety of tourists while operating the largest number of beaches on the east coast, and is also working to operate clean Goseong beaches that it wants to visit again through various experiences and events.
