Yangyang County officially announced that starting January 12, a regular shuttle bus service will connect Yangyang International Airport and the Yangyang General Passenger Terminal. This move is aimed at enhancing transportation convenience for travelers following the successful resumption of the Yangyang-Jeju flight route.

The return of the shuttle service comes nearly two years after it was suspended due to the interruption of domestic flight schedules. With Parata Airlines having resumed its Yangyang-Jeju operations on September 30 last year, the county moved quickly to restore ground transportation for residents and tourists alike.

Convenient Access for All Travelers

To facilitate this service, the county has leased a 15-passenger mid-sized bus. The shuttle will operate seven days a week free of charge, with a schedule strictly synchronized with flight arrival and departure times to ensure a seamless transition for passengers.

The shuttle route includes:

Yangyang General Passenger Terminal ↔ Home Mart ↔ Yangyang International Airport

Operation Schedule (Daily: 06:00 – 21:00)

The bus runs 12 times a day, tailored to both domestic and international flight requirements:

Domestic Flights:

Departure: Arrives at the airport 1 hour and 10 minutes before takeoff.

Arrival: Departs for the terminal 50 minutes after the plane lands.

International Flights:

Departure: Arrives at the airport 2 hours before takeoff.

Arrival: Departs for the terminal 1 hour and 10 minutes after the plane lands.

A Boost for Regional Tourism

Yangyang County plans to manage the shuttle operations flexibly based on the demand and flight frequency of the Jeju route. If additional international routes are confirmed in the future, the county intends to increase the number of shuttle runs.

"As the Yangyang-Jeju route is back in operation, we are committed to providing the best convenience for our passengers," a county official stated. "By adjusting the shuttle schedule according to passenger trends, we hope to make Yangyang International Airport more accessible and active than ever."
